Todd H. Harrison has been named by Law & Politics, in conjunction with the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine, a Southern California Rising Star Super Lawyer in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, a distinction given to 2.5% of Southern California lawyers who are either under 50 years of age or have been in practice for less than 10 years. From 2015-2021, Todd was named a Super Lawyer, a distinction only 5% of Southern California Attorneys are awarded.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Harrison was a two-time Emmy Award winning television broadcaster. For nearly nine years, he was involved in some of the country’s biggest news and entertainment stories, interviewing everyone from the President of the United States and other world leaders to celebrities and professional athletes. In his free time Todd is an avid martial artist.  He has a black belt in Cephas Karate Jujitsu Elite and a blue belt in Ascension Brazilian Jujitsu.

Mr. Harrison is committed to fighting employers who take advantage of their workers. He believes in leveling the playing field and giving everyone who has been damaged a voice in the justice system.

ERIC N. SCHWARTZ

Mr. Schwartz is a partner in the Workers’ Compensation division. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases and obtained millions of dollars for his clients in both negotiated settlements and judicial verdicts.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Sociology from the University of Southern California in 2003 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2007. He is the author of “U.S Security Strategy: Empowering Kim Jong-il?”, published in the 2008 Loyola International Law Journal.

Prior to joining Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison Law Firm, Mr. Schwartz taught English in Japan and worked as in-house attorney for Sempra Energy. He enjoys sports and roots for USC football, Kansas basketball, the Lakers, and Chelsea.

JERRY C. CHANG

Jerry Chang is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Worker’s Compensation department and a Certified Worker’s Compensation Specialist by the California State bar. Jerry frequently serves as Judge Pro Tem at the Long Beach Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board.

Jerry joined the firm in 2010 after practicing extensively in contract and real estate law. Jerry received his B.S in Business Administration and Cinema Television from the University of Southern California and J.D. from Loyola Law School, receiving full academic scholarships for both institutions. As a seasoned litigator, Jerry has extensive expertise in all aspects of Worker’s Compensation law. His successful track record in obtaining considerable trial results and settlements is evident, as he has recovered over $75,000,000.00 for his clients in the past ten years. As a member of CAAA and CAALA, Jerry looks forward to advancing and advocating the rights of injured workers.

PATRICK HAWKINS

Mr. Hawkins joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of California, Davis. In addition to being a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Honor Society, he wrote for the student newspaper and completed two student internship programs in Washington DC. The two internship programs consisted of him working at the White House and conducting legal research for a prominent Capitol Hill think tank.

Mr. Hawkins went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During law school he was a member of the Bryne Trial Advocacy Team, Loyola’s nationally ranked competitive mock trial team. He also completed conflict resolution and mediation training at Loyola’s Center for Conflict Resolution where he performed mediation and conciliation pro bono legal services for members of the greater Los Angeles community.

Jennifer S. Baskaron

Ms. Baskaron is a partner in the Employment Law Department. She represents clients on employment law claims involving discrimination and harassment in the workplace based on sex, race, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and age as well as retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower, and wrongful terminations. She has successfully litigated a wide range of matters in employment law against small businesses and big corporations and is responsible for millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for her clients.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Baskaron received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California Riverside. She clerked at a family law firm for two years before attending law school. During her time in law school, she was active in the Immigration Law Clinic and joined Perona, Langer, Beck, Harrison as a law clerk in the summer of 2016.

Ms. Baskaron was admitted to the California Bar in December 2017 after obtaining her Juris Doctorate in May 2017 from Western State College of Law.
Ms. Baskaron is dedicated to helping employees protect their rights in the workplace and giving them a voice in the justice system.

WILLIAM CARR

Mr. Carr dedicates his practice to securing Social Security Disability benefits for his clients and manages the firm’s Social Security department. He handles Social Security disability claims at all levels of the administrative process, from Initial Applications to the Appeals Council. He has helped secure Social Security benefits for over a thousand disabled clients and has built a reputation as a strong and effective advocate in the Southern California region.

Prior to joining PLBH in 2012, Mr. Carr was a Supervising Attorney and Associate Director with a national Social Security Disability law firm. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR).

Mr. Carr received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2010, where he was a member of the Public Interest Law Foundation. During law school, he spent his time volunteering and clerking in the public interest sector with a focus on helping under-served communities in the greater Los Angeles area. Mr. Carr received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in 2005, graduating with High Honors. As an undergraduate, he was a member of the Varsity Baseball team and was named a Second Team All-American in 2004.

Nick Sandomirsky

Nick Sandomirsky is an attorney focusing exclusively on workers’ compensation litigation. Mr. Sandomirsky has represented a diverse range of clients in the workers’ compensation system including employees, employers, and insurance carriers since 2011.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in 1998 and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California in 2007.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as supporting Everton F.C.

Edward C. Hinojos

A proud son of California’s Central San Joaquin Valley, Edward graduated from Fresno State in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science. He subsequently attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2016. He was then admitted to the State Bar of California the same year.

Since the inception of his legal career Edward has worked exclusively for the rights of injured workers in the field of Workers’ Compensation.

Prior to joining the team at PLBH, Edward worked at another firm advocating for the rights of injured workers. Edward has been with the PLBH since 2018. Like the rest of the staff at PLBH, he shares a passion for defending the rights of injured workers throughout Southern California.

When not working on behalf of injured workers, Edward enjoys spending quality time with family and is a passionate life-long fan of the Dodgers.

David Arburn

Mr. Arburn began working for Perona, Langer, Serbin, Beck, and Harrison in 2021. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Arburn began working at AAA Fair Credit Foundation, where he facilitated financial education programming designed to empower consumers and assist families in transitioning from financial crisis to long-term security. It was through this work​, that David was inspired to expand his own skill set as an advocate and pursue a law degree. He graduated from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University in Orange, CA.

In his spare time, David enjoys supporting any and all Bay area sports teams; Go Dubs!!

Alexander Zaimi

Alexander Zaimi represents employees in cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, as well as wrongful termination and wage and hour claims. He has extensive litigation experience and is passionate about advocating for the rights of employees and securing the best possible outcome for his clients.

Mr. Zaimi obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the UC Davis School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Zaimi interned with the Solano County District Attorney’s Office in Fairfield, California, where he gained valuable experience drafting motions and other pleadings. Mr. Zaimi was also a member of the Prison Law Clinic, during which he offered legal assistance to prison inmates in New Folsom Prison, including preparing an inmate for an upcoming parole hearing.

Taylor J. Morgan

Taylor J. Morgan joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison’s employment division in 2024. Taylor represents clients on employment law claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Prior to practicing law, Taylor served as president of AFSCME Local 809 union where he represented employees in disciplinary matters, started a union for part-time employees and negotiated multiple labor contracts. Representing employees became a passion for Taylor and led him to earn his law degree from Pacific Coast University in Long Beach, California. Taylor is committed to providing a voice for the employees he represents and ensuring that their rights are protected.

Ana Bencatel-Campos

Ana Bencatel-Campos joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison’s Employment Division in 2024 as a law clerk prior to passing the California Bar in 2025. Ana advocates for individuals whose civil rights have been violated in the workplace, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Prior to joining PLBH, Ana earned her Juris Doctor from the Rutgers University Newark School of Law. Ana gained her interest in the legal field when she began working as a legal assistant in a family law firm, focusing on divorce and domestic violence cases. During law school, Ana participated in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, assisting individuals and small business owners with their legal needs. Ana also gained experience as a judicial extern for the Long Beach Superior Court of Los Angeles.

Loaloa Elnaeb

Loaloa Elnaeb is a recent graduate of Chapman University’s Dale E. Driven by a strong commitment to advocacy, she has discovered a deep sense of purpose in practicing workers’ compensation law, where she takes pride in guiding injured workers through complex and often difficult circumstances.
